Policies

Shipping and Delivery

$9.95 flat rate delivery on all orders below $100 within Australia. NZ shipping available, view terms and charges here.

Free delivery on all orders $100 and over within Australia, excluding bulky items. Please contact us for a shipping quote on larger bulky items, we offer competitive rates Australia wide.

We ship majority of our items with standard delivery through Australia Post. Occasionally we use Hunter Express road freight courier service, depending on your location and the items being sent.

Delivery notes: when placing your order we encourage you to inform us if you give permission for your order to be left in a safe place if you are not at home at the time of delivery. There is a comments box on the checkout page where you can leave us a delivery note. If there is a not a safe place to leave your items, your delivery will be carded and you can arrange a redelivery time.

Orders are dispatched within 48 hours. Please allow up to seven business days to receive your order, depending on your location. If you are concerned that your item has not arrived, please contact us so we can track it for you. 

Payment Methods

Prepayment with a credit card is required for every order prior to delivery. Transactions are processed in Australian dollars ($AUD) and include 10% GST in the advertised price.

We accept Visa and MasterCard payments which are processed over a secure gateway at the time of your order. You are not charged any additional fees for paying with your credit card.

Credit Card Security: Room and Bloom Homewares does not collect or record your credit card details when placing an order at www.roomandbloom.com.au. Your details are securely passed to and protected by our Australian Payment Processor, EWAY, where your data is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.

EWAY is our choice for processing payments because they are verified as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant, meaning that they adhere to the highest security standards set by Visa and MasterCard for accepting credit card payments online.

Returns

You can return an item, for any reason, within 14 days of receiving your goods, as detailed below.

Damaged items: If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please email us a photo and we depending on the size of the item, we will either send you a satchel to return the item to us or we will book a courier to pick up the item from you. Once the item is received, we will provide you with your choice of a full refund or store credit.

Change of mind: If you change your mind on an item, you are welcome to send it back to us, and provided it arrives undamaged with the packaging in its original condition, we will offer you a refund or store credit, less the shipping cost of your order. Any shipping costs incurred on change of mind items will not be refunded or credited.

Privacy

Any personal information you provide to us, including your name, address, phone number and email will be held confidentially and not shared with or sold to any other parties. We will only use your details for our purposes and only for which you would reasonably expect us to use the information.

As a customer of Room and Bloom Homewares, if you have subscribed to our newsletter, you will receive occasional email communications that relate to the services we provide to you. You do have the option to opt-out of all non-essential emails.

International Customers

Ordering on roomandbloom.com.au is limited to Australian and New Zealand residents only. We are unable to deliver to other countries at this stage.

New Zealand Shipping Terms and Charges:

We ship to residents of New Zealand using Australia Post. Australia Post takes 3-10 business days to deliver goods to New Zealand depending on your location.

All advertised product prices are in $AUD and are GST inclusive. However, all orders to New Zealand will have the 10% GST automatically removed from the product price at checkout. This amount will be removed once you have entered your address details and the system recognizes that you are a New Zealand based customer.

We note the weight of our items in the product description for you to estimate your shipping charges using the chart below. Our system will calculate your order total weight and charge you accordingly.

Some of our items are excluded from NZ shipping as they are considered bulky goods too large for Australia Post. This is noted on the product description.

Our standard terms, conditions and policies apply to all orders placed for New Zealand based customers.

Please be aware of your obligatation to any customs fees, charges, duty and/or taxes once the order arrives in NZ.

Pre-Order Terms and Conditions

Pre-order is a service that allows you to order an item before it comes into stock with us. If an item is available for pre-order it will be advised on the product details page together with an expected date it should arrive into our warehouse. To order, you can add this item to your cart and checkout normally.

Items offered for pre-order on our website are done so with the best intention and good faith that these items will come into stock as close to the date advertised. However, it is realistic that the manual packing and handling of our shipments from suppliers occasionally experience errors or delays that are out of our control. When placing your order, please be aware of this.

The following terms and conditions apply to pre-ordered items:

~ Payment is required at the time of placing your order.

~ Expected arrival dates advertised are approximate and are subject to change, although we do our absolute best to indicate an accurate dispatch time.

~ If you change your mind on a pre-ordered item, we will offer you a credit note for the full amount as long as it is cancelled within 7 days of ordering and as long as the item has not yet been dispatched to you. In the event that the item has been dispatched, our usual returns policy for change of mind purchases applies. Pre-orders cannot be cancelled more than 7 days after ordering.

~ If an item is out of stock or does not arrive with our shipment, we will offer you a full refund. As an acknowledgement of any inconvenience caused by pre-ordered items that do not arrive into stock, we will also offer you a $20 store credit valid for 3 months in addition to your full refund.

~ If your order includes items that are both in stock and on pre-order, we will dispatch what is in stock within 48 hours (our usual policy) and we will then dispatch the pre-ordered items as soon as they arrive into our warehouse. You will not need to wait until all items are in stock for your order to be dispatched.
